Junior Allen Vanderford, age 77, of Loretto, passed away Tuesday. He was a native of Lawrence County, an army veteran, a retired Casket Factory owner and a member of the Blue Water Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Vera Vanderford, one son, Perry of Huntsville, one daughter, Peggy Vanderford of Columbia, three brothers, Lacy of Lawrenceburg, James of Leoma and Lester of Alabama and one sister, Melba Matney of Leoma. 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild survives.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 at Loretto Memorial Chapel with Shane Sinyard officiating. Burial will be in the Blue Water Baptist Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be from 5-8 tonight at the funeral home.
