Donations for Katrina Victims Stolen from Local School
Posted on September 09, 2005

Police are looking for whoever broke into Ingram Sowell School and took money the school had been collecting for Hurricane Katrina victims.
Principal Mary Ann Clayton said the break in was discovered early this morning and money seemed to be what the crooks were after.
The school was collecting money from students, teachers and parents and planned to donate the money to the Red Cross in a few days.
The schools computer lab also received some damage along with several classrooms and the library.
They got inside by breaking out the glass in the front door of the school.
Anyone with any information could contact the Lawrenceburg police department.
