While the weather may still be warm outside, the Lawrence County Oratorio Society is already beginning to prepare itself for the Annual Christmas Pops. This year?s performance will be on Monday, December 5, 2005, at the Old Crockett Theater in Lawrenceburg.

Rehearsals will begin Monday, October 3, at 7:00 p.m. at Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church on north Military Ave. The Society will rehearse each Monday leading up to the performance.

Pops Conductor, Paul Plant, said, ?After the tremendous success of the last several years, we are really looking forward to our 17th Annual Christmas Pops Performance. Cherie has spent a lot of time searching for new music, and we think this is going to be a most enjoyable Christmas Pops Season.?

If you have previously been involved in the Oratorio Society and performed at Christmas Pops, or if you wish to join for the first time, please be present at rehearsal at 7:00 p.m on Monday evening October 3, at Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church.
