Landmark Automotive LLC announced today that they have obtained for this area the franchise of DAIMLER CHRYSLER products. They will carry a full line of Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles. The new owners are Jeffery Rolen and Phil Wilson of Lawrenceburg and Brent Lewis of Lynnville. They also purchased all the assets of Lawrenceburg Chrysler and will commence operations as of April 1st at the present location for an interim period of about 2 weeks.
A new location is being constructed for LANDMARK AUTOMOTIVE LLC at 2131 North Locust Ave across from Wal-Mart. The new facility will use the renovated Richland Center building that will now face north, for service check-in, administrative offices, new car showroom and a new 2.85 acre sales lot that extends northward to the Goody?s building. Entrance will be from Goody?s ?
Wal-Mart traffic light into the new property. Service customers are welcomed at a new SERVICE CHECK-IN port, located adjacent to the sales and service building. Service customers will have a comfortable waiting area in this building while their vehicles are being serviced.
The former Omar?s building has also been renovated for MOPAR PARTS and ACCESSORIES with entrance and parking on Kennedy Lane.
One of the partners, Phil Wilson stated, ?the early move to our new location in about two weeks will be necessary for consideration of the new state road project at the Lawrenceburg Chrysler location. We will be able to make this move on time, however additional work will take place at the new location for a short period after the move. We will be open for business at the new location April 17th. We will delay our Grand Opening until final touches are completed. We welcome former Lawrenceburg Chrysler customers and look forward to making many new friends at our new location. Lawrenceburg has always had a strong professional auto dealer group and we are privileged to join their ranks. We will strive to be an asset to the community.?
?The Richland Inn property is not affected by these changes except for the closing of Richland Center. We appreciate the past patronage of this Center. After industrial changes in our community the Center ceased being a viable business,? stated Wilson.
