All School Nurses Now Certified Red Cross Instructors

All eleven Lawrence county school nurses have received their certification from the American Red Cross. Local Red Cross Chapter manager Ginny Benson said the goal in training all schools nurses, School Health Services Director Derese Methvin and school transportation director David Brown is far reaching. ?These individuals can low take these life saving skills back to their schools and train all of their staff, teachers, cafeteria workers and school buss drivers. This will add hundreds of CPR First Aid trained citizens into the schools and the community. School Director Larry Davis that the new Red Cross instructors have worked hard to obtain this certification and we consider each of them a gift to their school and the community.
