Mrs. Christine Fletcher Cowan, age 75, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Friday. She was a native of Lawrence County, a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, William Cowan, four sons, Jimmy, Bobby, Lloyd and Tommy Fletcher all of Lawrenceburg, three daughters, Linda Brewer of Kentucky, Barbara Pollock of Lawrenceburg and Karen Wilkinson of Summertown, four brothers, Campbell Attkisson of College Grove, Kenneth of Lewisburg, Teddy of Lawrenceburg and Jackie of Franklin and one sister, Patsy Hayes of Smyrna. 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 at Pettus Turnbo Funeral Home with Rick Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in the Rochelle Cemetery. Visitation will be after five this evening at the funeral home.
