Ralph Edward Mincey, age 87, of Loretto, passed away Thursday. He was a native of Indiana, retired from Ford Motor Company Engineering, owned and operated Artic air commercial air conditioning company, a navy veteran, a life member of the Veterans of Foreign war post 1618 and american legion post 146 in Loretto and a member of the Loretto Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Bess Mincey, two sons, Jim of Florida and Jeff of Nevada, two daughters, Shirley Thompson of Cookville and Barbara Carman of Florida, two step sons, Steve Roberson of Loretto and Randy Roberson of Alabama and one step daughter, Gail Evans of Lawrenceburg. 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren survive.

Graveside service with Full Military Honors will be Sunday at 1 at Loretto Memorial Gardens. Danny Pettus and Skip Evans will officiating. Visitation will be from 5-9 tonight. Donations may be made to V.F.W. Honor Guarde or American Legion Honor Guarde.
