Three From Lawrence County Killed In Interstate Wreck

A man, his wife and a friend are dead after a single car traffic accident on Interstate 65 in Marshall County late Saturday night.
Killed in the accident were 25-year-old Andrew J. Mashburn, 27-year-old Lorie M. Mashburn and 30-year old Allen L. Sims.
Mashburn’s address was listed as 45 Dunn-Fall River Road in Leoma and Sims lived at 220 Wesley Chapel Road in Lawenceburg.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol; Andrew Mashburn was driving a 1997 Ford Mustang in the southbound lane about three miles north of the Giles County line when he went off the interstate on the inside lane and struck several trees,and a rock embankment. The car overturned and landed on another road. Troopers said all three victims were ejected from the car.
The accident happened at 11:19 p.m.
