Teen Arrested For LCHS Threat Had Two Loaded guns and Extra Ammo

The 18-year-old arrested on Wednesday for threatening a LCHS student, had two loaded guns and extra ammunition in his vehicle.
According to the Lawrenceburg Police Department, Virgil Holt Luna, Jr, had a loaded single shot shotgun in the front seat of his Ford Explorer and a loaded 22 caliber revolver under the front driver?s seat. Police also found extra ammunition in Luna?s S.U.V.
Police said Luna had made threats to come to Lawrence County High School and shoot a student. As a result the school went into ?lock down? mode to insure the safety of the students, faculty and staff.
Luna was found on HH Lane in Lawrenceburg and taken to the police department where he was arrested.
He is charged with Reckless Endangerment with a firearm and Unlawful carrying of a weapon with the intent to go armed.
Bond was set at twenty thousand dollars and he is scheduled to appear in court on May 4th.
