| Two Burglaries; Stabbing Reported Over Weekend Posted on June 19, 2007 Sheriff’s deputies are wanting to question a women and two men who may have been involved in the theft of an 8,000 dollar ring from a home on the West Point Road. Reports said the ring was discovered missing on Sunday. Earlier in the week, the woman and two men stopped at the home and the woman asked for a ride to the store. The homeowner gave the lady, who said her name was Kelly a lift, and the men stayed at the house. Deputies are also investigating the theft of a notebook computer, DVD player and forty DVDs from the same area of the county. Lawrenceburg police said two men stabbed each other in a fight near E.O.Coffman school on Saturday night. Neither man was hurt badly. The incident began on Evergreen Street where one of the men reportedly stole a gas can from an outbuilding. Later the victim of that crime saw the man walking on East Taylor Street. A fight ensued. One man pulled a pocket knife and stabbed the other, the man then took the knife away and stabbed the other. |
