William McClain Named As Lawrenceburg City Administrator
Posted on November 15, 2007

William McClain was named the new Lawrenceburg City Administrator at today’s City Commission Meeting. McClain, who worked for many years at Murray, has signed a one year contract. His salary was set at 55,000 dollars. He is expected to begin work on Monday.
Ken Hinson, who had been interim city administrator, will go back to his original job as human resources director for the city.
In other action the commission adopted on final reading an ordinance that separates the city’s sanitation and street departments. The sanitation department, which is headed up by Gary Wayne Hyde, is now what’s known as an ?enterprise? department which generates its own revenue.
