Verna Warrick Fillius Green, of St. Joseph, passed away Monday. She was a member of the Mt. Nebo Cumberland Presbyterian Church, retired from the US Postal Service and served as a Tech V in the Us Women Army Corps.

She is survived locally by her husband, James Green Sr., one daughter, Martha Billings and one son, Joseph Green both of St. Joseph. 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 at Greenhill Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Nebo Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 Friday at the funeral home.
