Local Police Announce Recent Arrests

Lawrenceburg police have announced several recent arrests. Three arrests are in conjunction with a a burglar and assault at 528 second street in Lawrenceburg. The suspects include: 51 year old William Edward Richardson of Debus Street in Lawrenceburg who is charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, and theft of property and booked in jail on a 200 thousand dollar bond. He is scheduled to appear in general Sessions Court on December 7th. Police have also arrested 32 year old Shawn Wix of second street and charged with similar offenses. He is being held on 100 thousand dollars bond. A third suspect, 42 year old McLain Gesner of Lobelville is also charged in the case. His bond is 15 thousand five hundred dollars. All three are in the county jail.

In a separate case, 29 year old Wesley C. Albritton of Athens Alabama is charged with two counts of burglary, and other charges in connection with a burglary at D and B Marine. Police thanked the owner and employees of the Kountry Kupboard for their quick action and assistance in the apprehension of Albritton. He is in jail on a bond of 80 thousand dollars.
