James Washington Taylor, age 90, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away Sunday. He was a native of Loretto, a retired manager for United Insurance Company of America and an army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen Bassham Taylor, two daughters, Linda Baldini of Michigan and Jimmie Sawyer of South Carolina, two sisters, Dorothy Marvin of Arizona and Katherine Ferrera of South Carolina and one brother, William Taylor of Florida. 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren survive.
Graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens. There will be a private visitation. Neal Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
