Two Locals Arrested For Cattle Rustling

It may sound like the wild west but it still happens. I?m talking about cattle rustling. Two men have we arrested Wednesday on cattle rustling charges for stealing and then trying to sell cattle. 21 year old Cory Brent Dean of Rogersville, Alabama and 21 year Thomas Christopher Roberson of St. Joseph are charged with four counts of cattle rustling from farm on the Rosson Road and Roberts Road, both in Southern Lawrence County. A total of 12 cows and two calves were taken and sold to area sale barns. Both suspects are free on twenty thousand dollars bond. A court date of April 13th has been set.
