Local Man Killed, Two Hurt In Iron City Crash

A 37 year old Cypruss Inn man was killed and two others injured in a single car accident on the Holly Creek Road in southern Lawrence County last night. Tennessee Highway Patrolman Jamie Benefield said Gregory Tidwell, who was a passenger in the car died in the wreck. 22 year old Steven T. Tidwell, who was the driver and 27 year old Matthew Chambers were injured. Troopers said the 2002 Pontiac Tidwell was driving ran off the road, hit a culvert, went airborne and landed on its top. The accident happend at 7:30 last night.
