Nellie Mae Franklin Hood, age 89, of Loretto, passed away Friday. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Travis Hood, one daughter, Wilma Marlow of Spring Hill, two sons, Winfred Hood of Killen, Alabama and Wayne Hood of St. Joseph and one brother, Willis Franklin of West Point. 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren survive.

Graveside service will be held today at 2 at the Odems Chapel Cemetery with Charles Kretzer officiating. Loretto Memorial Chapel is in charge of all the arrangements.
