Mr.Howard Boyd Gambrell, age 89, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday. He was a native of Wayne County, retired manager of Kingston Pike Exxon, a member of the First Baptist Church of Concord and a Army Veteran of World War Two.
He is survived by two daughters, Barbara McNell of Lenoir City and Sheila Callaway of Georgia, one sister, Nell Chambers of Concord, and one brother, Gene Gambrell of Lawrenceburg. Four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Howard Boyd Gambrell will be at 10:30 Tuesday morning at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Dr. James Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in the Lynnhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 tonight (Monday) at the funeral home.
