Loretta Martha Kerstiens, age 77, of Loretto, passed away Wednesday. She was a native of Loretto, a housewife and a member of the Loretto Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Albert, 5 sons, Thomas of Killen, Stephen of Georgia, Anthony of Texas, Bernard of Alabama and Albert of Summertown, two daughters, Mary Armstrong of Corryton, Tennessee and Theresa Cottrell of Knoxville, three brothers, Morris Augustin of Japan, Royce Augustin of Lawrenceburg and Clarence Augustin of St. Joseph and one sister, Junette Hoover of Georgia. 20 grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 at Loretto Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Joseph Mundakal and Sam Beckman officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 Friday at Green Hill Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 7. Donations may be made to Sacred Heart School, P.O. Box 277, Loretto, Tn 38469.
