Jackie Oneal Pruitt, age 60, of Ethridge, passed away Saturday. He was a native of Lawrence County, retired from Murray, an army veteran and a member of the Mars Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Pruitt, one son, Jonathan Pruitt of Ethridge and three sisters, Dorothy Perry of Athens, Peggy Moore of Summertown and Viva McFall of Leoma. 3 grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 at Neal Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Lawrence County Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4-8 this evening at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Ethridge Elementary School Library.
