Lester Eulon Vanderford, age 69, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away Thursday. He was a native of Lawrence County, a retired truck driver and of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by one daughter, Joanie Battles of Cliffton, one son, Dwayne Vanderford of Tuscaloosa, two brothers, Lacy Vanderford of Lawrenceburg and James Vanderford of Leoma and one sister, Jean Matney of Leoma. 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 at Loretto Memorial Chapel with Melvin Flatt officiating., Burial will be in the Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 Saturday at the funeral home.
