Right-hander Jake Peavy has been activated from the 15-day disabled list and is expected to make his Chicago White Sox debut against the Kansas City Royals. Peavy had been on the DL since June 13 with a strained tendon in his right ankle. His comeback was slowed when he was hit in the pitching elbow by a line drive during a minor league rehab game on Aug.
