Irish Qb Clausen, Wr Tate To Enter Draft (ap)

He said made his decision after talking Friday with fired coach Charlie Weis and with his parents.

Quarterback Jimmy Clausen and his favorite receiver, Golden Tate, will bypass their senior seasons at Notre Dame and enter the NFL draft. The school announced the player's decisions Monday before a new conference was held on campus. They made their decisions after talking to fired Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis on Friday.
