Portland Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy will have surgery on his right knee on Friday and will miss the playoffs, the team announced. Roy, who averaged 21.5 points, needs the surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. The three-time All-Star was injured in Portland’s 91-88 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers last Sunday.
