The overnight ratings for the first NFL draft in prime time were up 30 percent from last year. The overnight rating for the first-round of the draft held Thursday night at Radio City Music Hall was a combined 6.42. Coverage of last year’s draft started at 4 p.m. on a Saturday. ESPN had a 5.47 rating, while the NFL Network posted 0.95.
