William Edsel Evans, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A native of Lawrence County, he was a Navy veteran, retired district manager for the Social Security Administration, and a member of First United Methodist Church. His parents were the late George M. and Bertie Rushing Evans.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ezell Evans of Lawrenceburg, TN

Visitation & Services

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Ave., Lawrenceburg, Tenn., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Friday, December 10, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 11, 2010 , with Jim Gardner
officiating. Interment will follow at Leoma Cemetery in Leoma, Tennessee.
