Loretto Police Seek Public’s Help In Solving Fatal Hit And Run

LORETTO POLICE ARE SEEKING THE PUBLIC’S HELP TO SOLVE A FATAL HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT. ACCORDING TO DEPARTMENT OFFICIALS, 60 YEAR-OLD JERRY SPRINGER OF LORETTO WAS RIDING HIS BICYCLE NORTH ON HIGHWAY 43 EARLY ON MAY 10TH WHEN A NORTHBOUND TOYOTA PICK-UP STRUCK AND CRITICALLY INJURED THE CYCLIST. SPRINGER DIED MAY 19TH AS A RESULT OF THOSE INJURIES. AUTHORITIES BELIEVE THE SUSPECT’S VEHICLE IS DARK COLORED AND HAS FRONTAL DAMAGE FROM THE COLLISION.
