William Drake Appleton age 82 of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, TN.
A native of Lawrenceburg, TN, he taught school in Davidson County for fifteen years and was retired from the Sumner County Board of Education.His parents were the late
Felix Columbus Appleton and Flora Belle McGee Appleton. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Velma Mitchell and Frances Turner; and one brother, George Appleton.

Grandson – Joshua Appleton, Springfield, TN

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, June 26, 2011 . Funeral Services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, June 27, 2011, with Billy Beal officiating. Interment follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
