The Boston Herald is reporting that the New England Patriots have released defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth. The move came Tuesday, two days after Haynesworth did not play for most of the second half of Sunday’s 24-20 loss to the New York Giants. The Patriots would not confirm the report.
