Mr. Elkins was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Lawrence County as a Dispatcher, a Sanitation Worker, a National Gaurd Veteran, a member of the Lawrenceburg Masonic Lodge, and a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include: Wife- Idell Flatt Elkins of Leoma, TN; 1 Son- James M. Elkins & wife Amanda of Loretto, TN; 4 Daughters- Nina Pollock & husband Tim of Lawrenceburg, TN; Lisa J. Elkins of Jackson, TN; Rosanna Marks of Leoma, TN; Amanda Byrd & husband Roy of Leoma, TN; 1 Brother- James D. Elkins of Leoma, TN; 1 Sister- Bonnie Thoams of Hendersonville, TN; 7 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces & Nephews
Visitation & Services
Visitation- 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Loretto Memorial Chapel with a Masonic Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service- 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Loretto Memorial Chapel with Carl Byrd officiating. Burial to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
